When to register for the test

Academic year 2024/2025

The ARCHED Test for the 2024/25 academic year will be held

  • on Wednesday 24 July 2024 in ENGLISH LANGUAGE (classroom entrance from 9:45 a.m. CEST)
  • on Friday 26 July 2024 in ITALIAN LANGUAGE (classroom entrance from 9:45 a.m. CEST)

    The test will grant admission to the Architecture programmes at Politecnico di Milano.

The procedure and contents of the admission test for the Laurea and single-cycle Laurea Magistrale programmes for the specific of discipline of architect are governed by Italian Ministerial Decree no. 627 of 24 April 2024 and its annexes.

When to register for the test

You can register for the ARCHED test in Italian and/or English language between 14:00:00 (CEST) on 21 May 2024 and 23:59:59 (CEST) on 15 July 2024.

To register for the ARCHED TEST, you must first create an account on Politecnico di Milano’s Online Services.
Once you have received your person code and password, log in to your personal account and go to: ‘Laurea (equivalent to a Bachelor of Science) and five-year single-cycle programmes: entrance or recovery tests and enrolment > Test Registration

and follow the online procedure described on the page ‘How to register for the test’.

 

The ARCHED Test for the 2024/25 academic year will be held

  • on Friday 26 July 2024 in ITALIAN LANGUAGE (classroom entrance from 9:45 a.m. CEST)


The test will grant admission to the Architecture programmes at Politecnico di Milano.

When to register for the test

You can register for the ARCHED test in Italian and/or English language between 14:00:00 (CEST) on 21 May 2024 and 23:59:59 (CEST) on 15 July 2024.

Italian language proficiency to enrol in italian courses

To be admitted on to the entrance test held in Italian you will have to prove your proficiency to enrol in the courses taught in Italian language.

Non-EU students residing abroad interested in courses taught in Italian must provide an Italian language certificate of at least level B1 of the CLIQ (Quality Italian Language Certification), to be sent to the International Students Office (contacts) no later than 15 July 2024.

Students who have not sent a valid certification by the deadline indicated above will automatically be enrolled in thelanguage testorganized through Cisia (Interuniversity Consortium for Integrated Systems for Access) which will take place remotely on 19 July 2024.

The test pass mark is a proficiency level of B1 or above.

The knowledge of the Italian language is not required for students who have indicated exclusively courses in English during the registration to the entrance test.

 

STUDENTS IN THE MARCO POLO PROGRAMME

Students participating in the Marco Polo programme, in order to benefit from the number of places reserved for them, must present a similar certificate of Italian language proficiency by 15 July.

In the absence of such a certificate, they will be able to sit the Italian language test scheduled for 19 July and, if they pass with at least B1 level, they will be able to sit the ARCHED admission test using the places reserved for students in the reserved quota, but they will not be considered as Marco Polo students.

PLEASE NOTE: students who have not achieved the minimum score on the Italian language test or who have not submitted a valid certificate by the above deadline will not be admitted to sit the admission test.
