You can transfer/shorten your programme/re-enrol:
- by taking the Urban Planning admission test.
If you have taken the Urban Planning admission test and your admission ranking allows you to enrol, you must follow both the instructions contained on the After the test: enrolment page and the instructions included below in the section Deadlines and procedures for requesting an evaluation of your previous academic career. - without re-taking the admission test:you can be admitted to years after the first year, limited to the number of places specifically made available by the School, provided that the following requirements are met and you are recognised as having at least 30 ECTS. You should follow the instructions on this page, in particular in the section How to apply for evaluation.

International students belonging to the reserved quota (find out what this means) must take the Urban Planning admission test regardless of the evaluation result.
If you are coming from another university or you have already graduated and wish to attain a Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) degree or diploma from Politecnico di Milano, you must still obtain at least 60 ECTS from curricular exams at our University, as well as pass the Final Exam and mandatory Traineeship, where applicable.
OFAs (additional education obligations) of English
All students who do not hold one of the English language certificates required by the University are automatically assigned English OFA (additional educational obligations). These OFAs must be fulfilled within the first year of registration at Politecnico di Milano, otherwise it will not be possible to add new courses to the study plan other than those already included upon enrolment.
If, on admission, you submit a Study Plan complete with all the ECTS necessary for attaining the degree, you cannot be admitted to the final exam until you have fulfilled your OFAs of English.
