Education and research

A complex structure

The Politecnico is composed of various structures. The Campuses represent the physical locations of the university spread across different cities. The Schools are responsible for teaching, organizing, and managing degree courses and study programs. The Departments, on the other hand, are focused on research; they coordinate and promote advanced research activities in various scientific and technological sectors and often collaborate with other academic institutions and industry, thus contributing to innovation and technological development.

In addition to these internal structures, the Politecnico actively participates in consortia and foundations together with other entities and companies. These collaborations allow for the development of joint projects, sharing of resources and knowledge, and promotion of innovation at both national and international levels. In this way, the Politecnico strengthens its role as a leader in the field of research and higher education.
