Who can take the test

Academic year 2024/2025

To gain admission to the Single-cycle Laurea Magistrale programmes (equivalent to integrated Master of Science) in Building Engineering - Architecture, you must sit the ARCHED admission test, in the language in which the programme is delivered.

  • In order to be admitted to the programmes delivered in Italian, you must sit the ARCHED test in Italian.
  • In order to be admitted to the Interaction Design programme (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) delivered in English, you must sit the ARCHED test in English.

If you wish to compete for both programmes delivered in Italian and programmes delivered in English, you must sit both tests.

If you are an Italian or equivalent student (find out what this means), you can take the ARCHED test in italian and/or in english language if:

  • you have already finished secondary school (ie you have sat the final exams)
  • you are currently in the final year of secondary school and will have taken the final exams by July/August of the school year prior to that of your enrolment at Politecnico di Milano.

If they wish, candidates with disabilities, including dyslexia, can request special support for taking the test.

Candidates with disabilities or dyslexia who wish to do so, may request specific support when taking the test.

If you are an international Student (reserved places) (find out what this means), you can only take the admission test if::

  • you have already finished secondary school
  • you will finish secondary school in the school year preceding the year of enrolment at Politecnico di Milano
